Hi all,
today (2nd September) Red River Island produced some nice birds including the following:
8-10 Barred Buttonquails very well seen, 1 Blue-breasted Quail, 1 Accipiter sp., 1 Yellow Bittern, 1 Cinnamon Bittern, 16 Grey-headed Lapwings, 2 Common Sandpipers, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Wood Sandpiper, several Common Snipes, 1 Burmese Shrike, tens of Brown Shrikes, 1 Stonechat, 1 juvenile Lark (probably Oriental Sky), lots of Paddyfield Pipits and Yellow Wagtails, 1 Grey Wagtail.
Cheers,
Stephan Lauper, Florian Klingel, Falk Wicker
Great stuff!
ReplyDeleteAnd on Nam Trang there was an adult male Yellow-rumped Flycatcher, and the starling flock contained a female and a juvenile White-shouldered Starling (so including Falk's birds yesterday there are at least three present).

Glad you got it for your list!
