Flycatchers in Lenin Park

Back to Hanoi for holidays, first stroll through Lenin park. The corners I knew to be good were all cleaned up and no birds there (except a Scaly-breasted Munia), so I looked at that area near the northern entrance. There I found a couple of Phyllos warblers, 1 Seicercus and the following Flycatchers:
- 2 beautiful male Yellow-rumped
- Taiga
- Asian Brown
- male Hill Blue
- and the one below, what do you think about this one?

Cheers, Florian

Ps: just had phantastic 4 days in Cambodia: White-winged Duck, White-rumped and Red-headed Vultures, Sarus Crane, Giant Ibis, Black-necked Stork, Banded Kingfisher, 11 Woodpeckers and more...

  1. That looks like Brown-chested Jungle Flycatcher again!

How long are you here for?

  2. Hi Falk,
my thoughts as well, but had some doubts as it behaved differently from the ones I saw in 2010 (this one up in the trees, not low down) and the legs were rather dark. But otherwise it reminded my a lot those BCJF.
I'll be here until 21, just figuering out now where to go in these 2 weeks...
    Cheers, Florian

  3. It's a female Blue-and-white Flycatcher... they usually sit like that, chunky things.
