Jan de Groot and I went for a stroll around Lenin Park this morning, hoping for some late migrants. Right by the Le Duan entrance we saw, one and then two Black-winged Cuckoo-Shrikes - a pair (male and female). Do these migrate in pairs, or do we have two residents now? Walking the rest of the park, the highlights were a male Yellow-rumped Flycatcher, a Brown Shrike (with a damaged wing) and a Burmese Shrike. Also an unidentified Finch.
Late that afternoon, Sebastien let me know the Northern Boobook was still about, and was kind enough to even drop by and show me where. What a lovely sight!

Which warbler is this. I am tending towards Raddes, but can anyone confirm?
