Daurian Redstart - Red River Island

Yesterday, afternoon trip to the Red River Island was looking a bit birdless until I stumbled upon a very handsome Daurian Redstart male, amazingly showing (it must known that it would be in the blog the day after).

I found it at the northern tip of the pond (the one with the floating houses). If you are interested : you follow the central path of the island for about 1 km and 100m before turning right and walking down towards the little forest you will see a small area recently cleared, on the slope, between the trail and the pond.
