Photos of Grass Owl
Hi All!
With the kindly helps of Sebastien, I and Richard had great chance to see the Grass Owl on 29 Dec 11. Particularly, I got some good shots of this beautiful bird.
One visit today 2 january with Falk to verify the human activities around. The farmers were not cutting the grass today because of the terrible weather. They stopped around 120m from the nest, so need to remain vigilant. Rain and cold = the best protectors of those chicks...
Hi there, Great pics - could we use the top one of the flying owl with dangling legs in a book we are publishing, Owls of the World? A superb last-minute addition to the book! Perhaps you could drop me a line, jim dot martin at bloomsbury dot com to discuss? Thanks, Jim

ReplyDeleteHope to see you regularly on this space !
